Trouble with You Tube
As many of you know I have a lot of issues putting my mastercard commercial onto Youtube. I found out that it is in the wrong format. Does anyone know the correct format to save it in or to transfer it to? I have made TWO videos using photo story 3 and neither one is in the right format. I played around with saving tool on the second video and that did not do anything. I would really like to get this uploaded soon. Any suggestions let me know!!! Thanks!

Yeah, I had to play around with this a lot too. After you have created the video in Photostory, open the video file (not the projet file) in Windows Movie Maker (not Photostory). I can’t remember offhand, but you may need to drag the clips into the filmstrip at the bottom of the screen, or they may already be there. Then, you need to save it, not as a project, but as a movie (both options can be found under “File”). Choose the “high quality video” setting. This should give you a .WMV format, the correct format for loading to YouTube. Photostory saves as a .wmv format, and the lowercase letters actually mean an entirely different type of file! That’s what confused me when I read the help section on YouTube, since they don’t explain that difference clearly.
I had a lot of problems with it too lol. It can get really frustrating. I had to download a converter and convert the file to an MPEG, but now when the video plays, the converter’s name is on a couple of the pictures. You could try the converter, Zamzar.com. This may work for you. Good luck!
